Your 2018 Site Visit Options

The Global Water Summit is pleased to offer delegates the opportunity to attend site visits to one of the two key data control centres in Paris on Wednesday 18th April 2018, kindly hosted by SEDIF and Saur.

Option 1: Saur de Marne-La-Vallée Operations Control Centre (OCCs)

Invented by Saur in 2007, the OCC© is the nerve centre for the control, management and analysis of local authority water supply and wastewater treatment data. Packed with innovations developed out of the best digital technologies available in the market, our OCCs© are revolutionising the industry by providing local authority councillors with a real-time comprehensive overview of the service delivered in their area. It gives Saur a clear competitive edge from the viewpoint of urban communities with a commitment to greater openness and taking back ownership of their own water policies; recent contracts include Arles, Valenciennes and Perpignan Méditerranée. These exceptional water industry contract gains are a direct result of a truly bespoke and totally transparent offer.

Option 2: ServO, the new integrated control center for SEDIF (Ile-de-France water)

ServO, the new integrated control center for SEDIF (Ile-de-France water), handles 1.25 billion data in an area of over 4.5 million people. It was inaugurated on 14 October 2016 by André Santini, President of SEDIF, and Antoine Frérot, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Veolia.

SEDIF, Syndicat des Eaux d’Ile-de-France is the authority responsible for producing and distributing drinking water in 150 municipalities in the Greater Paris area, i.e. 240 billion litres of water each year, supplied through a network of 8,600 kilometers of pipes. The service’s operation and management was delegated in 2010 to Veolia under a 12-year public service delegation contract.
