Christian Ziemer is in charge of the global Industry Development & Strategy for Water & Wastewater at Siemens AG – Process Industries & Drives Division in Nürnberg, Germany.
After completing his apprenticeship, Christian studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Munich, where he graduated with Master Degree in 1987. Christian joined Siemens in 1987 as Project Manager for Infrastructure Projects and held a variety of senior project management, operations and management roles within the regional organization of Siemens in Munich.
He started his experience in the Water & Wastewater market in 1997 when he moved to the United Arab Emirates for a Water Pipeline Project. In 1999, he moved to the international sales organization of Siemens AG in Erlangen. Over several years he was responsible for international Sales and Strategy Consulting, Market Research and Business- and Account Development in the Water Wastewater market. He gained comprehensive experience in an international sales organization in the water market, mainly in Spain, France, ASEAN and the Americas.
Christian represent Siemens interests also in German and European Water & Wastewater associations (GWP, DWA & EWA)
