Diane d’ARRAS, a civil engineer, started her career in 1977 in a French Water Agency. She joined SUEZ in 1981, taking in charge from 1984 to April 1993 the water operations in the Western Paris Area.
In 1993, she became Operations Manager in Aguas Argentinas (Buenos Aires, 7 million inhabitants). In 1998, she was appointed Research and Development Senior Vice President of Degrémont, then from 2003 to 2010, at group level, for SUEZ. After a five year experience in Business Development in water as Western Europe Senior Executive V.P. she is now in charge of Global Professional Relations.
She is since October 2016 the President of the International Water Association.
She is or has been in many industrial and scientific boards or councils (President of the European Water Supply and Sanitation Technology Platform, and of the Environmental Strategic Committee of the French Standards National Agency, member of the Advisory Council of the European Research Directorate, and of the Environmental Advisory Committee of Singapore Research Agency, board member of ACEA spa).
She is member of the National Academy of Technologies of France
