Jorge Avalos is the founder of INFRA P3 LATAM. Jorge specializes in the structuring of Public Private Partnerships (P3) and has worked on numerous infrastructure projects in different sectors especially in water – wastewater. Infra P3 Latam is currently leading the structuring of different projects through P3 schemes in the water sector in Mexico.
Jorge worked at Deloitte as a Senior Manager in the Infrastructure Advisory and Project Finance practice (IA & PF) in Mexico and Canada. Jorge led the IA & PF practice in Mexico City from 2013 to 2015. Besides his work in the water sector Jorge has also participated in other sectors such as transit and transportation, renewable energy, tourism, waste management, health care and others.
Jorge has over 18 years of experience in the infrastructure sector, including eight years working at BANOBRAS (1997-2005) and 8 years of employment at Deloitte (2007-2015) which includes two years within the Canada IA & PF practice from 2011 to 2013.
Jorge holds an MBA from the Simon School of Business, University of Rochester, NY, and BS in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).
