Biography

Marie-Ange Debon is a Graduate of HEC, Paris Business School, and ENA, the Public Administration University of Paris and has a Master’s degree in Law. She is Vice-President and, as such, Board Member of MEDEF International organisation and Chairperson of MEDEF International’s France-Azerbaijan, France-Georgia and France-Morocco Business Councils.

Marie-Ange Debon joined the SUEZ Group in June 2008 as General Secretary, in charge of the Legal, Audit, Procurement, IS, Water and Waste Projects Divisions. In April 2013, she became Senior Executive Vice President in charge of the International Division of SUEZ. The Division employs 26 000 people and generated €4 billion in 2016. Since October 1st, she is supervising the Water Technologies & Solutions Business Unit and a Board Member of SWTS.  She is a Board Member and President of Audit Committee of TECHNIP FMC, Euronext Paris (part of the CAC 40) and NYSE listed Company.

Marie-Ange Debon was one of the three French representatives of the Women-20 group of the G20 in 2015. She was a member of the Collège de l’Autorité des Marchés Financiers (the French Financial Market Authority) from 2008 to 2014. From 1990 to 1994, she served as a Magistrate at the Cour des Comptes. She joined FRANCE 3 (Channel Television) in 1994 as Senior Executive Vice President. In November 1998, Marie-Ange Debon integrated the THOMSON Group (now TECHNICOLOR) where she was Deputy Chief Financial Officer until July 2003, when she was promoted to the position of General Secretary.
