Biography

M Dana Kishore did his Masters of Sciences from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi. He is selected as Indian Administrative Service (IAS) of 1996 Batch. He has received the Prime Minister Excellence Award in National Rural Employment generation Programme (NREGP) while working as collector and district magistrate of Kurnool district, State of Andhra Pradesh, India. He has worked in about 9 Districts in past 20 years and has led various Government departments during his service.

Currently he is working as the Managing Director of Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board which is catering the water supply and sewerage needs of the twin Cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad which has a population of 11.0 Million spread over 658 Sq. Kms. He has served in this position since April 2016. He has been consistently striving towards modernization and implementation of various IT initiatives in the operations of the Board.

Prior to this he worked as a Mission Director in the Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (MEPMA), Managing Director of Telangana Urban Finance & Infrastructure Development corporation (TUFIDC), Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration (CDMA), Managing Director in Telangana Housing Corporation, Commissioner in Information & Public Relations department, Secretary in Minority Welfare & Women Development, Child Welfare & Disabled Welfare Department, Secretary of Housing Department, Member Secretary in Environment, Forests, Science & Tech. Department & Pollution control Board, Collector and District Magistrate of Kurnool and Rangareddy Districts, Joint Collector in Karimnagar and East Godavari Districts, Project Officer in Integrated Tribal Development Agencies – Parvathipuram and as Project Director for District Water Management Agency of Kurnool District.
