Global Water Summit: Postponed to May 16th – 18th 2022

We are pleased to confirm that the Global Water Summit 2022 will take place on May 16th-18th 2022 at the Novotel Madrid Center.

What happened to existing bookings?

All previously registered delegate passes have been automatically credited to the 2022 Global Water Summit taking place on 16th – 18th May in Madrid.

You do not need to take any further action, your booking is still confirmed. You should have received an email from us confirming this – please reach out as soon as possible if you believe you have a booking but have not been contacted.

I have already booked my room – how do I amend/transfer my booking?

All existing room bookings will automatically be transferred to the equivalent event dates and your new booking will be made for the same number of room nights. 

Day 0 of the conference will commence on 16th May 2022, with Day 1 on 17th May, and Day 2 on 18th May. 

If you did not book your hotel stay through the official GWS booking link, you will need to contact the hotel directly in order to amend your booking. If this is the case, please contact reservas@novotelmadridcenter.com. 

If you did book through the special delegate link, you do not need to take any further action unless you need to otherwise amend your booking, amend the duration of your stay, or request a hotel refund. If this is the case, please contact reservas@novotelmadridcenter.com. 

I have booked One-to-One networking meetings, what will happen to my confirmed meetings?

We will open for One-to-One meeting bookings in 2022You will be notified when the system opens so that you can recommence booking your meetings. 

Travel arrangements and bookings

The GWS team are unable to assist with rescheduling existing travel arrangements with third parties. Our advice is to revert to booking agents and insurance companies who will have policies in place in response to the developments with COVID-19, according to official guidance.  

What if I am unable to attend now that the dates have changed? What is the refund policy?

In line with our standard pre-event cancellation policy, no refunds will be given within 30 days of the event, or after 18th April 2022. Refund requests are subject to a £120/$180 administration charge.

Substitution of registrants may be made at any time up to the start of the conference at no charge. 

Please note, any refunds requested after 15th December 2021 will not be processed until 10th January 2022.
