REGISTRATION 

  1. What do I need to register?  
    • Full Name and email address
    • A unique email address is required per delegate. This is needed to access the GWS app.  
    • A credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) 

2. Can I register someone else?  

Yes, you can register someone.  

3. Do you have a group discount?  

We offer a ‘5 for 4’ discount for group bookings. Full details for each delegate are required and payment can be made online for the whole party by credit card. 

4. I cannot attend the event due to unfortunately circumstances; can I get a refund?  

Global Water Intelligence (GWI) which reserves the right to limit or deny access to the conference to any entity or individual. The agenda is subject to change at the organiser’s discretion.

We are offering full refunds to any cancellation requests received by 15th March 2024. Refunds requests are subject to a £150 / $200 administration fee per registration. No refunds will be given after the 15th of March 2024. 

5. Can I transfer my registration to someone else? Until when?  

You may, however, nominate a substitute to attend in your place – substitutions of registrations may be made any time up to the start of the conference or event.

We would need their full name, job title and email address. Our customer service team will register them as your replacement.  

ACCOMMODATION 

  1. How can I book my accommodation?  

We have secured a discounted rate for delegates attending the conference, with a limited number of rooms available

2. Can I park my car in Sofitel?  

Yes, Parking charges are as follows: 
– £18 up to 10 hours 
– £25 for stays up to 24 hours (for delegates staying overnight in the hotel 
– Additional hours outside of the above are charged at the standard rate.  

Car parking is subject to availability.
 

3. Can I check out late? 

 Yes, you can with £20 per hour charge as per Sofitel. 

4. Can I cancel my reservation in Sofitel?  

 Any queries about the hotel or your reservation, you can reach the Sofitel team here. 

5. Do you have any recommendation of alternative accommodation?  

We are not affiliated apart from Sofitel in Terminal 5. The nearby hotel accommodations are along Bath Road which is 10 minutes away from the venue. You can read more details here 

6. I arrive in Terminal 5 in Heathrow; how can I get to Sofitel?  

Sofitel London Heathrow, the only hotel with direct access to Heathrow Terminal 5 via 5 minutes covered walkway. 

7. How do I get to Sofitel Terminal 5 from another Terminal?  

Heathrow Hotels provides shuttle service that can transfer from one terminal to another. You can read more about it here. Free Transport between terminals here.

TRAVEL 

  1. Do I need to get Visa to enter the UK?  

 You can check your eligibility and how to enter the UK here. 

 If an invitation letter is needed to support your VISA application to attend Global Water Summit 2024 in London, kindly get in touch with Mylene Parsons at mylene@globalwaterintel.com. Request will be honoured for confirmed registered delegates.  

Kindly prepare your passport details, VISA office address where the VISA application will be process, delegate’s full name and job title. Scan passports should be sent by a secured link, or you can request to send it from our secured link.
