John H. Rydzewski

John H. Rydzewski is the Director of Water Programs at Nike Inc. He is a licensed professional engineer with 24 years of water and wastewater treatment experience that includes technology development, system designs, construction, process optimisation, and operational troubleshooting. At Nike, John is responsible for developing and executing the strategy to minimise Nike’s global manufacturing water footprint and reducing water-related risks to the supply chain. Prior to Nike, he spent 21 years in the semiconductor industry. He has authored over a dozen water-related technical papers; actively participated in numerous standards committees; and co-leads the development of the ZDHC Wastewater Guideline, a first-of-its-kind discharge standard for the footwear and apparel industry.
