Biography

Philip Marc Hermann is a middle child of the three siblings from a Belgian father and a Filipino mother, both medical doctors, he was born and raised in Belgium. He has a master’s in philosophy with a specialization in Logic-Epistemology earned at University of Liege and holds a post-graduate degree in Business Management from Haute Ecole Commerciale. He is a passionate environmentalist, with a vast knowledge in the water industry having held various senior roles in different global water companies namely WaterKonsult-EnviroKonsult Group of Companies, Global Water Engineering, and Veolia Water where he worked as the Business Development Manager in charge of Southeast Asia and the Philippines for five years. He has developed infrastructure projects first in the Philippines and then the whole of Asia for more than 13 years now. He specializes in international business development, strategic marketing, and people management in the water and wastewater industry.

Currently, he is the Group Director for International Business Group of Manila Water Asia Pacific. And align with the company’s aspiration to increase its international footprint and attain its growth targets, he is working on acquisition projects not just in Asia but also in Latin America and Middle East.
