Riina Salmimies

Riina Salmimies holds a doctoral degree in chemical engineering and a Master’s degree in business. She recently took on the position of CEO of Sofi Filtration after four years as the dean of the School of Engineering Science at LUT University, Finland. Salmimies has a diverse background in chemical engineering unit operations, initially specializing in filtration and dissolution in mineral processing and continuing to work with adsorption for the removal of emerging contaminants.
