Ruben Fernandes

Ruben Fernandes is the Executive Board Director of Águas e Energia do Porto EM, one of the largest and most innovative water companies in Portugal. He is responsible for planning, managing and driving change in Porto’s urban water cycle and energy systems. His commitment to enhancing the city’s sustainability is founded on the principle of leveraging the multiple and complex interconnections and interdependencies between water and energy sectors. In doing so, he is taking advantage of his previous broadband knowledge and experience on urban and regional planning.
