Silvio Olivio

Silvio Oliva is the Chief Executive Officer and a Member of the Board of Directors of Fisia Italimpianti – a company belonging to the Webuild Group (formerly Salini Impregilo). In this position, he has driven the company’s transition from conventional to energy-efficient technologies, both in desalination and in water treatment. Prior to his elevation to CEO in May 2012, Silvio acted as Fisia’s Chief Financial Officer for 12 years. With over 20 years of experience at Fisia, Mr. Oliva has served in the wider Webuild Group for more than 35 years in total, holding various positions in an extensive international career which brought him to Colombia, Turkey, United States and Pakistan.  

Mr. Oliva currently serves in the Board of Directors of the International Desalination Association (IDA) and is part of several organizations dealing with the water market in Italy and worldwide.
