What is the long term future for the water industry? Everyone needs water, and with 3 billion more of us on this planet by 2050, those needs – and the impact they have on the environment in the context of climate change – are are growing inexorably. The challenge for us today is that we are not well equipped for this inevitable future. We don’t have the financial models, the infrastructure or the technologies which will make that future possible.
In the opening plenary of the 2016 Global Water Summit we are challenging our speakers to outline their vision of water in 2050. What will it look like? How will it work? How do we get there from here?
