Blanca Salgado

Blanca Salgado is the Global Technology Lead for Water Solutions, a global leader in sustainable separation and purification technology. She started her professional career in 2005 with Veolia Water Solutions and Technologies (VWS), where she worked in different VWS locations (Paris, Beijing and Madrid) and occupied diverse positions, such as Business Development Engineer, Process Engineer and Project Manager. She assisted deploying VWS commercial strategy in Asia, and later coordinating project design teams for International bids, and executing International medium size projects in diverse geographies, including Central and South America, Asia, Africa and Europe. 

Blanca joined Dow Water Solutions (now DuPont Water Solutions) in 2011 as Technical Service Engineer in the Global Water Technology Center in Tarragona, Spain. Her role, initially including technical responsibilities associated to Spain and France, later incorporating support of strategic global accounts, as well as responsibilities for innovation driven and new transactional models. In 2016, she was appointed Western Europe Technical Service Lead, before accepting, in 2018, the role of EMEA Technology Lead and finally in 2020 she was appointed to Global Technology Lead role.

She holds a M. Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad de Valladolid (Spain), a M. Phil in Applied Chemistry and Process Engineering from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Paris (France), and an MBA from Universidad Rovira i Virgili (Tarragona, Spain). 

She is currently based in Paris.
