Booky Oren

Over the past 30 years, Booky Oren has been active in a variety of industries.
Since he turned from the Hi-tech to the Water Industry, he performed a variety of senior roles among which are: Executive Chairman of Mekorot – Israel National Water Company, (including initiated and implemented the WaTech™, leveraging the 3,000 Mekorot facilities as Beta sites for external innovation), Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Miya, and Chairman of WATEC Israel, a leading global water event.

As part of his managerial roles, Booky Oren has been leading and actively supporting multiple innovation implementation processes. Six years ago, Oren established “Booky Oren Global Water Technologies” in order to scale up these activities.

The company operates the “Global Water Partnership Hub”, and is active in hundreds of ventures globally, while overcoming the challenge of “i2i” – innovation To implementation. The uniqueness of its activities is the combination of accumulated experience and expertise with Water agencies, technology providers and large vendors, along with global connection coverage, and a business perspective approach. This creates the ability to provide relevant long term support to its partners, with a meaningful and measurable added value.
