Biography

Dr. Wangcharoenrung received a Ph.D. on Biomechanics from The University of Texas at Austin, USA. He is currently working as a Director of Domestic Wastewater Subdivision, Water Quality Management Division, Pollution Control Department, Thailand where his responsibility is relating to set up of effluent standards, wastewater treatment fee, management of central wastewater treatment plants, policy on onsite wastewater treatment plant, and remediation of contaminated sites. He is also being editor of an environmental newsletter, part-time lecturer in many universities, and independent consultant on environmental regulations. Dr. Wangcharoenrung received Outstanding Civil Service Award in the year 2020 and received scholarships from JICA, Government of Singapore and Royal Thai Government.
