Dragan Tutic

CEO and cofounder of Oneka Technologies, Dragan Tutic is an entrepreneur and mechanical engineer from Sherbrooke, Canada. Since its youngest age, M. Tutic has been relentlessly active in business and engineering endeavors. Though, with mounting concern over climate change and disasters, he is devoting his life to facing it with the power of engineering and entrepreneurship. While initially involved in mobility and EVs, an already crowded market, he decided to pivot toward freshwater access. Sustainable and affordable desalination is critically needed, which is an opportunity with higher odds of impactful success. To achieve that, he surrounded himself with a savvy multidisciplinary team, veterans from various industries including desalination and offshore marine, as well as a network of renowned business and financial partners. By successfully leading multiple rounds of financing and racking up good technical and commercial results, he is paving the way to make the oceans a sustainable and accessible source of freshwater.
