Heinz Brandenburg

Heinz is the member of Executive Board, Head of Operations and Managing Director of KLAR GmbH. At StEB Köln he has over 30 years’ experience within different leading management positions in civil traffic, wastewater disposal and flood protection.

StEB Köln is responsible for wastewater disposal and water management as well as for flood protection in the City of Cologne. With around 670 employees and annual sales of over €200 million, StEB Köln is investing around €80 million. Together with sixteen other municipalities in the region, Cologne founded the municipal sewage sludge recycling company, KLAR GmbH, to jointly build and operate a plant for sewage sludge incineration and phosphorus recycling.
