Hon. Minister Tazul Islam

Mr. Md. Tazul Islam is the Hon’ble Minister of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives for the Bangladesh Awami party, and as elected as a member of Bangladesh’s parliament in 1996, 2008, 2014 and 2018. He has acted as Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources and has been a member of the Parliamentary Committee of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Planning.

Throughout Mr. Md. Tazul Islam’s years of public service, he has established numerous opportunities for his people and country through the promotion of new industries and sectors, notably bank insurance. He has lead Bangladesh at various events at UN, Asian Development Bank and JICA, to name but a few.
