Jim Bentley

Dr. Jim Bentley was appointed as Hunter Water’s Managing Director in July 2016. Hunter Water supplies water and wastewater services to a population of 600,000 people in Greater Newcastle, Australia.

Jim has more than 20 years of experience in the infrastructure sector, much of it in water and wastewater working with: Thames Water in the United Kingdom, Turkey and Middle East; Metrowater in Auckland, New Zealand; and the University of Auckland in New Zealand as Director of the Centre for Infrastructure Research.
