José Enrique Bofill is the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Director for Aqualia. He joined the company in 1994 and has dedicated his entire career to the water industry, having held positions in the technical, execution and business development areas, and having also collaborated in the field of research and development.
Before taking up the post of regional Director for the Middle East in 2008, he participated in the implementation of state-of-the-art water, wastewater, desalination and reuse projects in Spain and other countries. Aqualia currently has a staff of 400 people in Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.
He holds an MSc degree in Civil Engineering and various post graduate programmes. He is also an experienced lecturer, having presented many papers and contributions in water events and congresses in several countries.
