Biography
Sarah Le Gallou is Technical Lead Engineer – Water Resources at EDF. After three years spent developing reverse osmosis processes applied to the food and health industry, Sarah joined Degrémont and its desalination department in 2007. There she participated in the technical elaboration and optimisation of several major desalination projects in Namibia, the Middle East, China, South America, and North Africa. During this experience, she also had the opportunity to play an important part as process and technical engineer in two major plants commissioning: Barcelona, Spain (200 000m3/j) and Al Dur, Bahrain (218 000m3/j). In 2013, she joined EDF-CIT (a major group in the design, construction and operation of thermal power plants) as technical lead engineer for water resources, where she is involved in the designing and optimising the water production for power plants.
