Shelley De Souza

Shelley De Souza is part of the International & Structured Finance Department at SMBC Bank International plc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, headquartered in Tokyo and among the top 25 global banks. She has over 20 years’ experience in lending to PPP and infrastructure projects.

Ms De Souza works on infrastructure mandated lead arranger lending roles across EMEA. Her experience includes transactions in the wastewater and waste sectors.

Prior to joining SMBC Group in 2008, Shelley worked in the Project and Infrastructure Finance team at Landesbank Hessen-Thueringen and in the Credit Department at Abbey National Treasury Services (now Santander UK) focusing on EMEA project finance transactions.

Shelley holds a B.A. Joint Honours Degree in Modern Languages from the University of Bristol.
