Timothy Hogan

Mr. Hogan is Principal and Owner of TWB Environmental Research and Consulting, Inc.  He is a fish biologist with 22 years of experience in the assessment of environmental impacts at industrial water intakes and discharges.  For the past eight years he has been working with seawater desalination project proponents in California on the topic of intake and discharge impacts.  He has particular expertise in the California Ocean Plan Amendment (OPA) and has interacted with the principal regulatory agencies that implement its requirements.  He works closely with engineers to ensure that environmentally-protective intake and discharge designs are also cost-effective to operate and maintain.  He provides management of complex, multi-disciplinary water and energy projects and functions as the bridge among the regulatory, engineering, hydraulic, and biological disciplines.
