Victoria is a Senior Engineer at Samsung Austin Semiconductor, LLC. She joined the Facilities team after graduating from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Music. Her career in water/wastewater began with ownership over the operation and maintenance of industrial wastewater treatment systems, and her responsibilities eventually extended to all onsite collection, transfer and treatment. She later served as the wastewater engineering team technical lead, leading bench-scale and pilot studies to drive process and safety improvements while evaluating O&M considerations to ensure a good fit for onsite operations. Victoria is now a project engineer on the Infrastructure Construction team, overseeing water and wastewater design and construction for the new Samsung semiconductor manufacturing facility in Taylor, TX.
Victoria has participated in GWI’s annual UltraPure Micro event since 2018, first leading roundtable discussions on waste and instrumentation, then co-authoring presentations with solution providers and other facility owners. She served as a moderator for the water management track in 2021 and is now looking forward to new opportunities to collaborate with industry leaders and technical experts at the 2022 Global Water Summit.
