Osward Chanda

Osward is a Manager responsible for water security and sanitation at the Africa Development Bank, where he oversees water and sanitation lending program for both public and private operations. He has over twenty-five years’ experience in infrastructure development financing, water services regulation, institutional reforms, PPP structuring, policy and strategy development. A global player in the water sector, a fellow of the International Water Association, he served on the World Water Council governing board, and other global and regional boards advocating for sustainable solutions to Africa’s water challenges. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Zambia and a Master’s degree from the University of Melbourne in Australia.
