Saada is an Omani Water Management Lead Engineer in Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) who has a variety of experiences in upstream and downstream Oil & Gas sectors. She holds a BSc from University of Bahrain from 2001 and has worked as process engineer in Tebodin engineering Consultancy Company, Granherne Company, Oman Refinery Company and Petroleum Development Oman.
Since she joined PDO, Saada worked in various positions in Gas Processing, including concept engineering in different poject phases (Assets, Selection, FEED & Detail Design). She joined the Water Treatment section where she worked on various projects involving the assessment and deployment of new technologies for chemical EOR, thermal EOR and water treatment. She also played an active role in eliminating the disposal of RO reject and produced water and creating opportunities for water re-use such as generating by-products from produced water. She collaborates with academic bodies, government organisations and research centres to keep researchers up to date on the latest challenges in Produced Water Treatment. Saada was an active technical committee member in the 2nd Middle East Oil Field Produced Water conference 2017 and the Oman Energy & Water Conference 2017 & 2018.
