Industrial Corporate Water Strategy

Corporate Water Leaders Group pathfinder meeting (Part 1)

As sustainable water use grows in importance for industrial water users, there is an increasing interest to establish a platform where different industries can learn from each other’s past experiences and best practice. While some water challenges are unique to specific industries, many are shared by multiple sectors, and some sectors are significantly more advanced in their solutions than others.

In this first part of our Corporate Water Leaders group pathfinder meeting we invite different industrial sectors to present the water challenges they face, the best practices they can share, and the areas where they feel greater collaboration would be most beneficial.

Industrial Corporate Water Strategy

Corporate Water Leaders Group pathfinder meeting (Part 2)

In the second part of our Corporate Water Leaders group pathfinder meeting we discuss specific industrial water challenges that are shared across different industrial sectors. Round table discussion groups consisting of representatives from multiple industrial sectors explore the opportunities for collaboration on those challenges, and identify best practices and past experiences that can be shared.

Desal

The Dawn of Solar Desal

The tumbling price of solar power means that the bids for most major desal projects now include photovoltaic panels on every available surface. It can determine the difference between winning and losing but is it efficient? What trends and technologies will be enabled by falling energy costs, and where is the deployment of solar desal most appropriate? This session will hear from some of the leading authorities on solar power and desalination to map out their combined future.
